Unpaid Salaries: Lautech Doctors calls for Aregbesola’s resignation...

Image result for AregbesolaResident doctors at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology LAUTECH, Teaching Hospital, Osogbo today, joined their voices with those asking governor Aregbesola to resign if he fails to pay their salaries on or before the end on June.  The doctors who staged a protest outside their hospital, stated that Aregbesola’s administration has overstressed their patience over the non payment of their salaries for several months.  The president of the association Olalekan Ajayi said “we are here for just a very simple but very complicated issue. We have not been paid for the past eight months.

EFCC- Why we arrested Ohakim...

Image result for ohakimThe Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Thursday, said it had arrested former Gov. Ikedi Ohakim of Imo State. Mr Wilson Uwujaren, the spokesman for the EFCC, made this known to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja.  He added that former Gov. Sule Lamido of Jigawa was also being interrogated over corruption allegation. “Ohakim was picked up by operatives of the commission at 8 a.m. from his Abuja residence.’’  He said the operatives had gone after the former governor following his failure to honour an invitation by the commission.

Breaking News: Charleston church shooting suspect captured...

Image result for dylan roofThe 21-year-old Dylann Roof, suspected of shooting dead nine people at a black church in the southeastern US city of Charleston has been captured, media reports said few minutes ago.  Dylann Roof was taken into custody in North Carolina, according to CNN and two local television stations.
