Jada Pinkett Smith says she lost the female lead in The Matrix because she had zero chemistry with star Keanu Reeves.
On SiriusXM's The Howard Stern Show this
morning, the actress talked about auditioning for the role of Trinity
in the 1999 sci-fi blockbuster, which won four Oscars and made nearly
$500 million worldwide. Though she wanted the part badly, Smith knew
she’d lost it as soon as she screen-tested with Reeves.
“Keanu and I didn’t, uh, really click… We just didn’t have any chemistry, he and I,”Smith told Stern. Read more about this on yahoo news.
