June 12 public holiday...

As part of the 22nd year commemoration of the annulled June 12, 1993 presidential election that was presumed won by late MKO Abiola, Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State has declared today being Friday, June 12 a work-free day.
In a similar news Ogun State Government has also declared June 12 a public holiday to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the June 12, 1993 presidential election believed to have been won by late MKO Abiola. The secretary to the State Government, Taiwo Adeoluwa, delivered a speech that contains this information on Sunday in Abeokuta.
