For those of you out there who, like me, love to see this wonderful TV series, Mitresses is set to make a reappearance this Summer.
Remember that previously Joss (Jes Macallan) left her groom at the altar to give into passion with Harry (Brett Tucker) — you know, the ex-husband of her sister, Savi (Alyssa Milano), who was just about to discover them in an embrace. Meanwhile, Karen (Yunjin Kim) found out she was HIV-negative… but the doctor told her “something else came up.” While Milano has left the show, executive producer Rina Mimoun says we'll still get to "experience" Savi's reaction to her sister's betrayal in the season premiere, which picks up where the finale left off. The repercussions from Joss and Harry’s actions are a “huge part of the two-hour premiere,” says Mimoun. Creator KJ Steinberg adds, “For Joss, the loss of a sister who meant so much to her leaves a big hole in her heart” — one that will be filled by Jennifer Esposito’s new character, Calista Raines.
