Spotlight: Clément Chabernaud...

He has works satisfyingly for an array of designers. Beginning as the winsome face of Jil Sander, he quickly distinguished himself on the runway, walking for big names such as Dolce & Gabbana, Tom Ford, Giorgio Armani, Prada, and Gucci. Off the catwalk, these same clients still looked to Chabernaud when it came time to cast their campaigns.

Ambode names Agosu as Ag GEO of LSDPC...

AgosuLagos State Governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode today approved the appointment of Engineer Jacob Agosu as the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Lagos State Development and Property Corporation (LSDPC). Governor Ambode also approved the immediate reorganization of the LSDPC to stem the tide of negative capital returns in the corporation, according to a statement signed by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Habib Aruna.

Oxford’s Professor of poetry: Wole Soyinka loses race to British poet, Simon Armitage...

Image result for wole soyinkaProf. Wole Soyinka has lost the race to be Oxford’s Professor of poetry to British poet, Simon Armitage.  Armitage, the popular poet and broadcaster, secured 1,221 votes – 301 more than his closest rival, Wole Soyinka.  Armitage was backed by more names, including John Carey and Melvyn Bragg. Bragg had previously supported Soyinka, but later publicly switched his allegiance to Armitage.
