Here is a list of the hottest TV shows that will be making a comeback this summer.
A new season of "Orange Is the New Black" would be enough to get us excited for summer TV, but add to it new installments of everything from "True Detective" to "Suits" to "Playing House," and we may not find any reason to use our sunblock this season.

NBC’s hit TV talent competition is back for its 10th season, and to
celebrate the show is expanding beyond the old song and dog acts. Season
10 features extreme outdoor acts, a rebooted boot camp, and an enhanced
Golden Buzzer that will have contestants flying straight to the live
shows. “We had everything from a guy jumping out of a helicopter, to
high dives, to a woman who was in a car that she blew up,” says
executive producer Jason Raff.
The More Judges, the Merrier: Celeb guest judges will join this time. Howie Mandel, Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, and Mel B. during the season,
and celeb choreographer Cris Judd also comes aboard as a dance scout.
“He’s found some amazing acts,” says Mel B. “He’s gotten an array of
really cool, edgy acts that actually make sense.” — Victoria Leigh Miller.
Beauty and the Beast' (June 11, 8 p.m., The CW): Catherine (Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent (Jay Ryan) worked together to
defeat his enemy beast, Gabe, and the couple was approached by
government agents who want their help in tracking down other
scientifically-modified bad guys.
Cat and Vincent are playing house! “We’re playing
on typical gender roles in the beginning of the season with the
relationship,” Kreuk explains. Vincent, in particular, struggles with
“the primitive experience of what that means to live with a woman.”
Extant (July 1, 10 p.m., CBS)
Astronaut Molly Woods (Halle Berry) has a humanoid son and an alien baby she was impregnated with during a space mission. Jeffrey Dean Morgan! Several Season 1 cast members will be back in limited roles — including Goran Visnjic as Molly’s hubs, John — but Morgan’s rogue cop character, J.D. Richter, pretty much assures Season 2 will be a fun ride as J.D. skeptically helps Molly search for her alien baby and try to save the world. “He's not buying all of this space crap out of old Molly Woods, so it's going to take him a little while to kind of catch up to the reality of the situation,” says Morgan. “He is the audience’s point of view, the guy who’s going to say, ‘What the hell is happening here?’ It was a very smart show, but you run the risk of, if an audience isn't tuned in every five seconds, they're going to not know what's going on. Now you have a guy in J.D. who’s going to kind of walk the audience through some of the muddiness of that world that could be a little bit confusing or, dare I say, boring, and kind of add his own little spark of life to it.”'Hannibal' (June 4, 10 p.m., NBC)
It’s been nearly a year, but we’re still catching our breath after that positively blood-soaked Season 2 finale, which saw impeccably dressed serial killer Hannibal Lecter deliver mortal wounds to Will Graham, Jack Crawford, and a shockingly resurrected Abigail Hobbs. (Alana Bloom took a dive out of a second-story window, too, thanks to Abigail.) So is this just "The Hannibal Show" moving forward? We can’t confirm who survived, but as star Mads Mikkelsen, who plays Hannibal, tells us: “Let’s put it this way: If I left Will Graham in the kitchen in the second season still alive, there’s a higher meaning to that.”'Major Crimes' (June 8, 9 p.m. TNT)
Stroh used his serial killer p rotégé as a distraction to escape, creating an “existential threat” for Rusty and the entire team. “We'll deal with [Stroh] very briefly, then we'll move on,” says showrunner James Duff. Instead, the focus will be on the evolution of Provenza's (G.W. Bailey) relationships with both Patrice (Dawn Lewis) and Rusty (Graham Patrick Martin), while Sharon (Mary McDonnell) and Andy (Tony Denison) try to figure theirs out. Sanchez (Raymond Cruz) will have to deal with his anger issues and Sykes (Kearran Giovanni) is featured in a big gang violence episode.'Married' (July 16, 10:30 p.m., FX)
Where We Left Off: Despite Russ's desire to pack up and move the fam to Costa Rica, he and Lina decided to stay in Los Angeles. Coming Up: Both Bowmans have jobs in Season 2, which means more money. "The audience will be like, 'Oh! They got a nicer house.' I am like, 'Oh, we have more room, and it will not be so hot on set,'" star Judy Greer jokes. Plus, "I feel like Russ and Lina are a little bit more emotionally connected, even though they probably spend a little less time together just because they are both working so much."Here's just to mention but a few...more coming up later.
