Pat and Gina Neely, the couple who had us salivating on the Food Network’s Down Home With the Neelys are divorcing, possibly because deep down they really hate each other.
The Neelys (specifically Gina) filed divorce paperwork, effectively ending their 19-year marriage last month, which revealed they had been separated for the past two years.
Which makes sense because according to sources (via TMZ) the duo have been unhappy while filming since the show began in 2009 and 11 seasons together only made things worse.
Apparently they only endured because the lure of the spotlight was just too strong.
They will however continue to run their NYC restaurant Neely’s Barbecue Parlor together.
